I know hopelessness… of being ill but feeling like you have no options; I know worthlessness… that every door you try is the wrong one or someone else deserves treatment more than you. This is why it is so important to me to ensure our community has ample welcoming resources for individuals and their families; organizations that have no wrong door. I am blessed to be alive, healthy and working in an environment where we empower individuals to believe in themselves, get well and stay well.
