Supporting and maintaining good mental health is a key component of good physical health. As a cancer survivor, I can’t imagine not feeling comfortable talking to my friends and family about my cancer during treatment, and even now, years later. Mental illness should be no different. We all need a strong support system and healthcare system to face our won battles and come out the other side. Let’s all stand up for mental health and eradicate the stigma!
