Growing up with Crohn’s disease has taught me that good health is truly a blessing. This is why I take both my physical and mental health very seriously. It is extremely important to understand the importance that good health plays on your life and to cherish your health. Throughout my life, I have developed a tool kit to help me through some periods of extreme anxiety. This tool kit helps me everyday to live my best life, and thrive despite any challenges I may be facing. Gutsy Feeling is an online community that I began in June 2018. This blog and community was started to share with others how they can thrive despite any chronic illness or mental illness they may be struggling with. As an ambassador for the Sole Focus Project, I plan to continue to share with others the importance of good mental and physical health through my online platform and community. Through sharing, this will hopefully inspire others to prioritize their health and to incorporate self-care in their lives daily. After all, we can’t pour from an empty cup, so taking care of ourselves is crucial.
