Mental health challenges don’t have a particular “look” or socioeconomic status. People from all walks of life suffer in silence, isolation and sometimes shame, including myself in the past. But no more! In my role, I see first-hand how encouraging environments and uplifting media can significantly impact mental health. I’m so pleased to partner with the Sole Focus Project to actively remove the stigma around mental health. Now is the time to create a safe environment where dialogue can take place with nonjudgmental ears in love, to create a supportive, encouraging community. Seeking help for mental health should be looked upon no differently than seeking assistance for physical health.
