The inaugural Breakfast of Champions brings engaging, thought provoking speakers to Windsor-Essex to explore mental health and wellness in today’s society, to bring greater awareness and understanding, and to support the programs and services of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch.
2018 KEYNOTE SPEAKER – SUE KLEBOLD
Sue Klebold is the mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the two shooters at Columbine High School – a tragedy that saddened and galvanized a nation. She has spent the last 15 years excavating every detail of her family’s life, and trying to understand the crucial intersection between mental health problems and violence. Instead of becoming paralyzed by her grief and remorse, she has become a passionate and effective agent working tirelessly to advance mental health awareness and intervention.
